Privacy Policy

The short version

This is a small website for a book. It does not sell anything directly, does not ask you to create an account, and collects the minimum it needs to answer your messages.

What is collected

If you use the contact form, the details you type — your name, email address, optional organization, the reason for contact, and your message — are sent so that they can be read and answered. Nothing else on this site asks you for personal information.

Basic, aggregated traffic statistics (such as page views and referring sites) may be collected to understand which pages are useful. These statistics do not identify you individually.

How it is used

Your message is used only to reply to you and, where relevant, to fulfil a bulk order, speaking invitation, media enquiry, or course adoption request. It is not sold, rented, or shared for marketing, and you will not be added to a mailing list without asking.

Links to other sites

Buy links point to Amazon, Flipkart, and the publisher’s own store. Once you follow one of those links you are on that company’s website, and their privacy policy applies to what happens there.

Cookies

This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may log the request as part of serving the font files.

Your choices

You can ask for the message you sent to be deleted at any time. Email contact@builtagainsttheodds.com and it will be removed.
